The Cowboy Astronomer is a skillfully woven tapestry of star tales and Native American legends, combined with constellation identification, star-hopping, and astronomy tidbits — all told from the unique viewpoint of a cowboy astronomer who has traveled the world plying his trade and learning the sky along the way.

You will be seated on the floor with a cushion; chair seating and other accommodations can be arranged and advance notice is appreciated 540-338-7973. The program lasts 40 minutes. We begin planetarium programs on-time and late arrivals can not be admitted as it willl ruin the experience. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before showtime; NO REFUNDS will be issued for late arrivals. This film is best for ages 8 and up and not suitable for children under age 4 years.
