This midweek live music series is for in-person and virtual audiences to add a variety of music that will brighten up the winter weeks ahead. Week 6 of our Music for Dessert Series features Pictrola. The band, which features close vocal harmonies and skillful instrumental work, has played numerous events and venues including: The State Theatre, Washington Folk Festival, B-Chord Brewery, Gloria Faye Dingus Center for the Arts, DC Bluegrass Union, Fairfax Cable 10 – as well as many weddings, restaurants, and private parties. Pictrola recently won the Watermelon Pickers Band Competition in 2022, and played as an emerging artist at the 2023 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.

The band includes Mike Shade on guitar, Evan Sands on banjo, Dan Henderson on fiddle, Taylor Gerber on bass, and Josh Ungar on mandolin.

The concert will be 45-60 minutes without an intermission. No refreshments are served — let the music be your dessert! All ticket holders will receive an email 2 days before the concert with a link for watching the livestream.
