The Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center kick-off their Gold Star series with a first-time collaboration between Virginia National Ballet and the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra designed specifically for our stage. The evening begins with selections from a 13-musician ensemble of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, who has been performing first-class orchestral concerts since 1991. After a short intermission, the dancers from Virginia National Ballet will take the stage to present Dying Swan, Cuckoo in the Forest and Claire de Lune accompanied by live musicians from the LSO and ending with dance performances from the classic ballet of Cinderella. Virginia National Ballet, located in Manassas, is celebrating its 11th season, performing at venues such as the Hylton Performing Arts Center and Capitol One Hall. Prepare to be dazzled by this lovely evening which is presented with support from the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Tickets are Reserved Seating with stairs to all rows except accessible seating in row K. Refreshments are included in the ticket price and will be available during intermission in the lobby; only water is permitted in the theater.

This project was supported, in part, by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, which receives support from the Virginia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
