Franklin Park Arts Center invites families to embrace the celebration of the Lunar New Year with our Chinese New Year event. Performances by the Choy Wun Dance Troupe from Fairfax, VA will wow and amaze you and invite you to learn a few steps! Take in the energy of our “Year of the Dragon” art exhibit in our lobby gallery while you create themed crafts and sip some hot tea. Your fortune is bright if you begin the year off right!

Please arrive by 2:55 pm to get settled before the performance.

20-minute intermission- in lobby, crafts and tea
4:05 – 4:30- Dragon Ribbon Dance, Workshop on stage
4:30-5:00- Lobby activities and tea, fortune cookies
