One of our favorite events celebrating the traditions of this Japanese festival. Begin the evening with a traditional art project of Suminagashi led by Loudoun artist Leanne Fink. Pick out a kimono to wear, decorate your floating lantern and create a scene in out tabletop ZEN garden. At 7:00 pm, we will being our tea ceremony led by Hiromi Johnson, complete with Matcha and sweet treats. To complete the evening, we invite you to the pond for a release of floating water lanterns. A magical, and cultural evening for all generations.

You may arrive anytime between 6:00 and 6:30 pm, however, the tea ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 pm and requires guests to be seated.
