Celebrate this traditional Japanese festival with an interactive planetarium show that combines astronomy and the story of Tanabata. Traditional crafts and games will be in the lobby for all ages to enjoy. Try on a kimono from our collection and snap some pictures in our photo booth area. Planetarium program will be presented each hour on the hour. At dusk, we will release floating water lanterns in Franklin Park pond. A peaceful, magical, and cultural evening for all generations.
