DESCRIPTION:This series presents dazzling shows that the whole family will enjoy. \nThe Enchanted Mermaid is a show using very large puppets\, in the style of Bunraku with a story for older children. Once upon a time\, our hero John Cobbler stumbled upon a hidden castle. A beautiful maiden has been transformed into a mermaid! Can John use his wits to free the mermaid and escape from the wicked Lord Fish? Based upon the Walter de La Mare short story “Lord Fish” written in 1927. This show features elegantly crafted Bunraku-style puppets with elaborately built miniature castle and interior sets. SUMMARY:Planetarium Program: The Story of Tanabata(七夕)
DESCRIPTION:Colorful Tanabata festivals are held across Japan in early July and August. Among the biggest ones are the Tanabata festivals of Sendai in August and Hiratsuka near Tokyo in July.  Tanabata (七夕)\, also known as the “star festival”\, takes place on the 7th day of the 7th month of the year\, when\, according to a Chinese legend\, the two stars Altair and Vega\, which are usually separated from each other by the Milky Way\, are able to meet. \nStep inside our inflatable dome for this interactive and unique planetarium program. Suitable for ages 4+.
