Celebrating 250 years in 2026!

Artists in all mediums share artwork that explores, depicts or celebrates the theme of Pursuit of Happiness. There is joy and happiness in creating their work as as inspiration for the pieces created. A pathway through the woods, bags packed for vacation, fishermen on the docks, a bee searching for pollen – we are interested in the search, the pursuit!

Gallery is open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm and during public performances.

Candlelight Concert: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations creating an unforgettable musical experience surrounded by thousands of LED, battery-powered candles (no open flames!). Music presented by a live string quartet. Age requirement: 8 years old or older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Presented by Fever / Mad Hatter Experience LLC.

Exhibition On Screen – Sunflowers: The Mystery of Van Gogh’s Masterworks

Sunday, June 21, we are celebrating Play All Day VA with this free event that is a tribute to the Sunflower masterworks.

Exhibition On Screen presents this art documentary film featuring the Sunflower paintings of Vincent Van Gogh. All is revealed in this fascinating film, which traveled beyond Amsterdam to Tokyo, Philadelphia, London and Munich to film, in incredible high-definition detail, all five of the works on public display. Each painting is different and has its own unique story, spanning one of the most famous and turbulent periods in art history. Running time: 85 minutes with reception afterwards to spend time in our gallery with “Pursuit of Happiness” exhibit.

Jumpin’ Jamie at Franklin Regional Park

Discover Your Parks with a FREE summer concert series popping up in a park near you! Franklin Regional Park is the location for our first outdoor concert in this series, featuring Jumpin’ Jamie, a “kindie rock concert for all ages”! Musical performances will sweeten your day and help you squeeze in some family time this summer. Bring a blanket, chairs and your best dance moves.

Water and lemonade will be provided; bring a reusable cup/water bottle. Music will begin at 10:30am with activities provided afterwards. Follow signs for parking; event is held in the field next to the pool.

Storytelling Open Mic: Pursuit of Happiness

The mic is yours! Bring a prepared story that is 5-7 minutes in length in any format and step up to the mic to share it with others in this community series. Your story can be something that brings the theme to life in your own interpretation. Listeners and storytellers are welcome! Storytellers will be assigned a time upon arrival – everyone needs a ticket.
