SUMMARY:Summer Showstoppers: The Enchanted Mermaid
DESCRIPTION:This series presents dazzling shows that the whole family will enjoy. \nThe Enchanted Mermaid is a show using very large puppets\, in the style of Bunraku with a story for older children. Once upon a time\, our hero John Cobbler stumbled upon a hidden castle. A beautiful maiden has been transformed into a mermaid! Can John use his wits to free the mermaid and escape from the wicked Lord Fish? Based upon the Walter de La Mare short story “Lord Fish” written in 1927. This show features elegantly crafted Bunraku-style puppets with elaborately built miniature castle and interior sets. Framed in a beautiful\, large black theatre stage\, this show was originally built for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 45 minute program presented by Beale Street Puppets. \nTwo shows:  11:00am and 1:00pm\nClick below to purchase tickets\, then scroll down to correct performance. \nPURCHASE TICKETS HERE
