The show will be juried by Francine Livaditis, a Torpedo Factory artist, mentor to Alexandria high school students, and an experienced juror. Francine's abstract architectural images are in many corporate and private collections.

Professional Critique Opportunity
- Saturday, July 11, 2009
- Opportunity for any photographer (emerging, professional, etc.) to have work critiqued by professional photographers in a small group setting
- $5.00 per photograph* (Free to photographers entering show, whether juried in or not)
- Number of pieces limited: 1-3 (number of items critiqued will depend on the number of entries, be prepared to select just one piece for critique if session is full)
- Select one session time: 10:00, 11:00 or 1:00
- Sessions limited to 10 people
- Critique panel: juror Francine Livaditis and Jim Steele, nationally exhibited photographer and photography teacher

There is a $20 non-refundable entry fee. The entry fee also covers your optional participation in the Critique on July 11.
A 15% commission will be charged for all artwork sold. Payment to artists will be made by The Friends of Franklin Park Art Center, a 501(C)3 board assisting the Arts Center to meet its mission. All funds collected support the Franklin Park Art Center via the Friends of Franklin Park Art Center.
All artwork must be for sale. Any sold work will remain in the exhibit through the end of the show.
To ensure anonymity during jurying process, signatures and titles will be masked with removable tape.
Entry Guidelines
- Images may be black & white, color, or digital photographs.
- 2-dimensional works only will be accepted, three dimensional collages are not permitted.
- Entries must be properly framed and ready to hang with wire only (no saw-tooth mounts). The use of matting or framers' spacers is strongly advised.
- Photos must have Loudoun County subject matter.
- Work must be created within the last 2 years, entrant must have full rights to the work.
- Entrants must be Loudoun residents age 18 and over.
- Content must be in accord with County policy. The FPAC reserves the right to reject any entry submitted.
- Subject matter must be identified and location sited (Example: Great Blue Heron, Ashburn Farms). Artist's name, title of piece and sales price must be marked on the back of all pieces.
- Submit up to 3 pieces.
- While we will not restrict the size of your work, please be advised that due to limited space large pieces may not be accepted.
- No substitutions or price changes or alterations to pieces allowed once entered.
A current, one-page artist biography is suggested but not required. Please try to fill the page, as bios are presented to the public exactly as submitted. Use of color is encouraged.
Sales will be handled by the Friends of Franklin Park Art Center. Notification of sale will be made by phone or email, as indicated on registration form. Sales tax will be collected from purchasers. Any packing and shipping of sold artwork will be the responsibility of the artist. Though the utmost care will be taken, the FPAC is not responsible for stolen, lost or damaged artwork.

- Deliver entries:
- Saturday, June 27 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Monday, June 29 - 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Tuesday, June 30 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Pickup dates for artwork not selected by the juror July 6 - 9 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, or by appointment
- Pickup for accepted unsold artwork is Monday, August 3, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Evening and weekend pickup by appointment only. Unsold work must be picked up by 5:00 pm August 7.
- Checks for sold artwork will be mailed by September 4.
