Center Pieces Winners Announced

Friends of Franklin Park Art Center announced the winning artists of works exhibited in Center Pieces, the Second Annual Mid-winter Art Show and Sale at Franklin Park Arts Center. Ribbons were presented at the close of the show.

Viewer’s Choice ribbons were presented to artists given the most votes by viewers during the course of the exhibition.

Stephanie Roan of Leesburg received the Viewer’s Choice ribbon for her hand carved and painted wood “Indigo Bunting, Male.”

Honorable Mentions went to Alice Power of Lovettsville for her watercolor “Still in Time” and to Bob Friedenberg of Round Hill for “Entropy 2”, a Giclée print of a pen & ink drawing.

Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center presented the Friends Choice ribbon to Peter Wood of Middleburg for his steel sculpture entitled “To Catch a Dream.”
