39 steps

Alfred Hitchcock meets Monty Python in Patrick Barlow’s superbly ridiculous, award-winning Broadway play. Based on the Hitchcock film of the same title, the plot follows the comic misadventures of Englishman Richard Hannay, who blindly stumbles into a web of intrigue involving murder, international spy rings, abductions, seductions and true romance. The four-person cast plays over a 100 characters as they romp through downtown London, train depots and Scottish moors in search of the mysterious 39 Steps. Cast includes Phil Erickson, Penny Hauffe, Kevin Daly and Tom Johnson. Directed by Meredith Bean McMath.
